Will it Hurt?

Yes. Tattoos hurt.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Our artists are independent contractors and are responsible for their own payments. Some of our artists take credit and debit cards, others are cash only. Please inquire with your chosen artist for details.

May I use a credit or debit card for deposits and gift certificates?

Deposits may be paid by Credit/Debit card. Venmo and Paypal.  Gift Certificates are Cash Only

I want to get tattooed, how long is the wait?

We are an appointment-only tattoo studio.   We do accept same-day appointments when available.  The wait may be only a few days to a couple weeks, depending on the size of the tattoo you desire.  We ask you to pick the artist who’s portfolio speaks to you and check with that artist for appointment times.

How do I get an appointment?

Call the tattoo shop and set up a consultation with your chosen artist or visit our booking page (insert hyperlink)

Why must I leave a deposit for a tattoo appointment?

We require all appointments leave a small deposit. Our deposits range from $40-$100 depending on the size of the tattoo. All deposits come off the price of your tattoo. However, deposits are non refundable. If you change your mind about getting the tattoo, or miss your appointment without 24 hours notice, you will forfeit your deposit.

Other tattoo shops in Portland tell me it is multiple weeks to several months wait get a tattoo. Why are you available so soon?

It has to do with the way we do business.  Rather than making people wait for months, we tattoo people as they come in. Our artists work very hard to insure you can be tattooed in a timely manner.

I was told by another tattoo shop that my idea is stupid. My tattoo artist refuses to tattoo my idea What do you think?

No tattoo is stupid. All tattoos are treated as sacred at Freaks and Geeks Tattoo Studio.

This is my first tattoo. What should I do to prepare?

Relax. Get a good nights sleep. Eat a meal before you arrive. Do not drink excessively the night before.

Can I drink after getting a tattoo?

Yes. Just not before the tattoo session.

Can I take drugs like pain killers before the tattoo session?

No. You must be completely sober from drugs and alcohol or you will be asked to leave.

Can I come back into the tattooing area to be with my friend while they get tattooed?

No. Only and tattoo clients may come into the tattooing area.

What kind of tattoos do you specialize in?

The good kind kind of course. Seriously though, we ask you to look through our portfolios. We can tattoo whatever image you like; however, it will be done in the style of the tattooist’s portfolio you are looking at.
