Jason has been tattooing since 2002. He spent his 20’s working in the music industry. In 1998, he graduated from California College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Art, with a focus on painting and drawing. Jason was fortunate to meet two old-timers who mentored him into tattooing. Having tattooed in Los Angeles, Oakland, and San Francisco, CA, Syracuse, NY, and Corvallis, OR; Jason settled in Portland in 2009 and opened Freaks and Geeks Tattoo Studio in 2011. Jason specializes in traditional Americana or Japanese style tattooing.
