Derek started tattooing in San Diego, California, in 2023. He learned to tattoo through a traditional tattoo apprenticeship. Derek spent his first couple of years tattooing in a busy street shop in San Diego. He moved to Portland in 2025 as he wanted a change of scenery and desired to work in a custom tattoo studio that catered to walk in clients and appointments alike. Derek prefers to tattoo American Traditional style tattoos. However, he will tattoo whatever the client desires. He has a ton of his own tattoo flash designs to choose from, or will take your idea and turn it into tattoo magic. Derek is available five days a week for appointments and walk in clients.
